She Must Protect Her Power

Women are doing it all, sometimes a little too much. Your capacity is dangerously expansive and it is takes a lot for you to feel overwhelmed by it all. But when you get there, to that place of overwhelm, your power can be temporarily compromised. As women, we must protect our inner power in order to continue thriving in all aspects of our lives. This means setting boundaries, saying no when necessary, and choosing you. For far too long we have proven how resilient we are, that we can make it when faced with challenges, that we are strong and that no matter what happens we can bounce back. Yes, you can and do bounce back, but here's the thing, you don't need to prove another thing. You only need to protect your power, your power that comes from within. That is where your true strength lies because "God is within her, she will not fail..." - Psalm 46:5.

Our power as women is often underestimated and undervalued, but it is one of our greatest strengths. It comes from within and cannot be taken away unless we allow it to be. So how do we protect this inner power? First, by recognizing and acknowledging we have it. We must understand that our strength, resilience, and ability to thrive in the face of challenges all emanate from our inner power.

Also, we must set boundaries and learn to say no when necessary. This can be difficult as women are often taught to please others and put their needs before our own. However, saying no does not make us selfish or mean. It is a way of protecting ourselves and preserving our energy and power.

In addition, we must choose ourselves. This means making time for you and prioritizing our well-being. It may also mean walking away from toxic relationships or situations that drain us and compromise our inner power. If the relationships you have with folx are not mutually beneficial, it may be time to re-evaluate and make changes for the sake of your protecting your peace and your power.

Remember, protecting your inner power is not a one-time thing. It is an ongoing process that requires constant attention and self-awareness. But the rewards are immeasurable. When we protect our inner power, we are able to show up fully in all aspects of our lives as mothers, daughters, sisters, partners, friends, ministers, and professionals. We can also inspire other women around us to do the same and create a ripple effect of empowered women protecting their power.

So, Ms. Woman, know that you are powerful beyond measure and it is your responsibility to protect your power. Set boundaries, say no when necessary, and choose you. Your inner power will continue to radiate and lift you in ways you never thought possible. And remember, "She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future." - Proverbs 31:25. Keep shining, sis!
